Terms of Service

SaanZh lets a group share the photos from an event in one place, and, if you choose, finds the photos you appear in. It is currently in early testing with invited groups. Features will change, and we do not promise uninterrupted service during this period. Please do not treat SaanZh as your only copy of important photos yet.

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• A parent or legal guardian may add a child under 18 as a linked profile under their own account and is responsible for that profile.
• One account per person. Keep your email account secure, since a code sent to it is how you sign in.

• You own the photos you upload. You must have the right to share them with the members of the event you add them to.
• You grant us a limited licence to store, resize, display, and, where consent allows, process your photos, solely to provide SaanZh to you and the members of your events. This licence ends when the photos are deleted.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, that you do not have the right to share, or that harms, harasses, or exposes another person.

• Face recognition runs only for people who have enrolled their own face and explicitly consented, and only in events they have explicitly accepted. Enrolling is optional.
• By enrolling you confirm you are 18 or older and consent to SaanZh creating and storing a numeric representation of your face for matching. You can withdraw at any time in Settings.
• You may only enroll your own face, or, as a parent or guardian, the face of your own child.
• Event hosts choose whether an event uses face matching. Hosts are responsible for informing their guests about the nature of their event.

If you create an event you are its host. You agree to:

• Invite only people who have a reasonable connection to the event.
• Decide fairly on deletion requests from members about photos in your event.
• Respect the limits of your event tier (photos, members, retention). Limits are shown in the app.

Other members may upload photos in which you appear. SaanZh gives you controls: hide a photo from your own view, mark a photo in which you are the only person as private, request that the host or uploader delete a photo, leave the event, or block the person. SaanZh does not force removal of photos, because the uploader already has the original outside SaanZh. Group photos are shared at the discretion of the host.

• Do not use SaanZh to identify, track, or profile people who have not enrolled themselves.
• Do not attempt to access other people’s data, probe or disrupt the service, or circumvent its limits.
• Do not use SaanZh for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

SaanZh is free during early testing. If we introduce paid event upgrades, the price and what it includes will be shown before you pay, and these terms will be updated.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings; see the Privacy Policy for what is removed. We may close accounts that are inactive for a long period or that violate these terms, and we will tell you if we do.

SaanZh is provided “as is” during early testing. Face matching can make mistakes, both missing you in a photo and matching the wrong person; treat results as an aid, not a guarantee. To the extent permitted by law, VN Tech Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of photos, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months.

We may update these terms as SaanZh develops. If the changes are material we will ask you to accept them the next time you sign in. Continuing to use SaanZh after that is acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VN Tech Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: support@saanzh.app.
